On December 12, Delta Air Lines unveiled its latest Delta One Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), the third in its growing collection of premium lounges. The 6,700 sq feet lounge-within-a-lounge is located in the Delta Sky Club in Concourse E, near Gate 13.
What to Expect Inside
The interior design pays homage to Boston’s seafaring roots with features such as a custom-designed sail ceiling, a ship-like bar and other subtle nautical touches such as a blue-and-bronze accent color scheme. The color palette also nods to Boston's academic history, with the city and surrounding region home to the likes of Harvard University and MIT.
The lounge’s menu, curated by acclaimed chef Ed Brown, highlights Boston’s famous seafood specialties like warm Maine lobster rolls, octopus carpaccio, cod Milanese and classic Boston chowder. The menu also has non-seafood options, as well as an extensive drinks menu featuring wines, spirits, beers and cocktails.
Lounge Access Details
The operating hours for Boston’s Delta One Lounge are from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, while the adjacent Delta Sky Club is open from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM. Access to the Delta One Lounge is reserved for Delta One passengers and Delta 360 members traveling in Delta One or First Class.
The lounge will also grant access to equivalent cabin class with partner airlines, including Air France La Premiere and Business Class (Long-Haul); LATAM Premium Business Class; KLM Business Class; Korean Air First Class and Prestige Class; and Virgin Atlantic Upper Class.
Paid access to the lounge is only possible for Delta 360 members in Delta One or Delta First Class, who are permitted to bring their immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children under the age of 21) or up to 2 companion guests, at a surcharge of $100 (or 10,000 miles) per person.
Following the successful launches of Delta One Lounges in New York (JFK) in June, Los Angeles (LAX) in October and now Boston, the carrier continues to enhance its premium offerings and narrow the gap with competitors like American Airlines’ Flagship Lounges and United Airlines’ Polaris Lounges.
A Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) Delta One Lounge is slated to open in early 2025, with Salt Lake City (SLC) to follow.
