The Atlas Travel Business Development team recently attended the 2025 Administrative Professionals Conference (APC) in Seattle — a three-day event that brought together thousands of administrative professionals from across the country and various industries to learn, connect and share best practices.

Representing Atlas (from left to right) were Business Development Directors Kevin Czepiel, Jo-Ann Zeniak, Carla Carbrera and Executive VP of Business Development Paul Swartz.

At APC 2025, Atlas Travel had the honor of presenting on stage during one of the most well-attended sessions of the conference. The team shared strategies for removing stress from business travel — a particularly relevant topic for attendees who coordinate travel for their organizations. In the end, the session was well received, drawing a highly engaged audience.

Beyond the presentation, the Atlas Travel booth became a popular stop throughout the conference. The team even held an airline ticket giveaway at the booth, which attracted strong interest and drew a steady stream of visitors all day. And of course, the booth’s candy selection became an unexpected favorite,  especially for attendees fondly looking for that 3 pm sugar rush.

Through these one-on-one conversations at the booth, it became evident that administrative professionals play a central role in corporate travel. Many served as the primary travel decision makers or held significant influence over travel choices within their organizations — and to them, service is everything.

In fact, the most common frustration they expressed was the inconsistent service they received from their travel management company (TMC). They wanted a trusted partner who understands their unique challenges and provides the personalized support they need. This was especially critical for those booking for executives or entities like the police units, which the team was surprised to learn travel frequently and often have complex travel needs.

For those not currently partnered with a TMC, several admitted they hadn’t realized the value they were missing. This presented the team with an opportunity to demonstrate how centralizing travel services through Atlas Travel can streamline booking processes, improve reporting, increase control/visibility and make life easier for both travelers and coordinators alike.

Overall, it was inspiring for the team to connect with administrative professionals who share the same commitment to making corporate travel run smoothly. The feedback received reaffirmed what Atlas values most: exceptional service, true partnership and dependable support.

The team looks forward to continuing these conversations and helping administrative professionals elevate their travel programs through stronger collaboration and smarter travel solutions.
