The Year in Review: Atlas Travel Meetings & Incentives

It’s hard to believe another year has gone by…2017 was a very exciting year for the Meetings & Incentives team. We were honored to work with so many wonderful clients and support their event needs in a variety of ways.

The year brought increased visibility, and it became clear that website improvements were needed in order to outline our services better. In July, we launched our new-and-improved website, highlighting our ever-growing list of services and capabilities. For more information and to view our portfolio of services, visit our new site.

2017 was also a challenging year, with many world events reaffirming the need for increased risk management, safety protocols, and clear group communication methods. Our team continually reviews all available resources and strategies, in order to put an actionable plan in place for our clients.

Due to business growth, we were able to welcome two new members to our meeting planning team. Amanda Lukowski joined us in March as a Meeting & Event Coordinator; with previous experience at a non-profit foundation, Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge about fundraising events. Her expertise in auction management and fundraising best practices greatly guided our expansion of event management services for non-profit foundations.

A recent addition to our team is Lisa Nelson, who joins as a Meeting & Event Manager with diverse industry experience. In addition, her degree in graphic design has augmented our ability to make visually captivating event registration websites.

Our Group Air desk, led by Denise Kelly, continues to grow as well; we’ve increased our partnerships with other meeting planning agencies who need group air management for their client’s meetings and high-touch incentive programs.

Last, but certainly not least: our Manager of Rewards & Recognition, Stephanie Chandler, has been adding new partners in reward products, recognition platforms, and deliverables such as award trophies and gifts.  As clients look to augment employee recognition strategies in response to a changing world, we are pleased to meet their needs by providing customized programs. Our Travel Policy Plus incentive program is a great option that’s becoming even more commonplace for our clients. The program allows clients to decrease travel spend by rewarding travelers for choosing less costly means of travel.

Looking towards 2018, we’re excited to take our new knowledge, expertise, and energy from 2017 to your meetings and events. Until then, we wish you the best for a happy and healthy New Year!
